The university hosted the 10th KFUPM Design Expo, inviting participation from engineering students to showcase their innovative projects.
The 10th KFUPM Design Expo welcomed the public from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. At the Expo, KFUPM Engineering students presented their innovative designs alongside working prototypes. Numerous brilliant ideas were showcased. The university president toured the expo, visiting each booth and attentively listening to every team. An award was granted to the team that best articulated their project idea concisely.
Projects Categories
With 185 teams and 1063 students participating, the majority engaged in multidisciplinary projects spanning 16 departments. These projects, which draw expertise from various disciplines, enable students to tackle real-world problems effectively.
During the Expo day, a committee comprising KFUPM faculty members, specifically assembled for this purpose, evaluated all projects. Evaluators toured each booth, attentively engaging with students and assessing their work. Additionally, the university president personally visited each booth, lending an ear to the presentations. Subsequently, the president selected a team for the prestigious President's Choice Award.
